ChemigramThe chemigram is a processes which is somewhat similar to a photogram, however the main difference is when you put the chemicals on before rather then after. On a piece of photographic photo you put a mixture of developer and fix and you can add stop (these are the basic chemicals you can add other chemical products.) then it is exposed to Light it can be left for any time ranging from about 2 to about 20 this is a unique feature about chemigrams as they will come out different each time. In our class we used stop, developer and fix using a mixture of sponges and brushes with varying thicknesses to give a range of chemicals over the paper to create different effects. Then they where left in front of the window for a certain amount of time, it fluctuated between each person. This time our experiments quite confined but if we do it again we can really experiment further with exposures and the chemicals we use.
